An exceptional, fine and impressive pair of antique George V English sterling silver salt and pepper shakers; an addition to our silver cruets/condiments collection
These fine antique George V sterling silver salt and pepper shakers are realistically modelled in the form of Cobbler cocktail shakers.
The surface of each novelty piece is plain and unembellished.
These sterling salt and pepper shakers retain the original hallmarked covers and pierced decorated push fit condiment grilles, each encircled with a plain applied moulded border to the rim.
The underside of each salt and pepper shaker bears the registration number 'RD 714542', in addition to the full hallmarks.
Condition
These silver salt and pepper shakers are a very good gauge of silver and excellent quality for
their
type.
Each piece is in exceptional presentation condition.
Full hallmarks to the underside of each base and part hallmarks to the surface of the cover are all very clear.
Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of these examples of antique silverware.
