This listing is for a lovely antique Sterling Silver salt cellar with cobalt glass liner, c. early 1900. The oval silver stand for the cobalt glass liner has an ornately reticulated design on the side body.
The silver is marked with the trademark stamp of Dominick & Haff and "Sterling, 848". Dominick & Haff produced high quality silver items in New York NY from 1868-1928.
Measures 1 1/8" high with the top measuring 3 1/8" long and 2" wide. Sterling Silver (without glass liner) weighs 20.3 grams. Overall weight is 3.2 ounces.
The silver and fitted glass liner are in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws and reflecting minor signs of wear.
