Historic lyre guitar, circa 1800. In very good condition, evidence of old repairs. Note that the action is quite low near the bridge, but still playable. No label inside, belly is stamped "GRATEL" This is an exceptional example of this sort of instrument. Lyre guitars were popular from the late 18th century through the first couple decades of the 19th century. Note that this historic instrument is sold as is, please ask and questions for more information or more photo details before bidding.
