LH Bear Montana 64” Longbow, Rare Brown Glass Model at 40# Weight, Left

This is a rare LH bow, as Bear stopped making this model in bow weights below 45-pounds, plus this one has the nicer looking brown glass limbs, where most Montana longbows are black limbs. The Bear 64” length Montana Longbow is quick and smooth. Its graceful limbs are faced and backed with brown fiberglass, with contrasting white limb tip overlays, with a brown maple riser.
The design of the Montana is a slightly reflexed design with tapered limbs and slim tips, to be smooth, stable and fast. When stung it achieves the classic ‘D’ longbow shape. Classic lines, maple laminates and brown glass are brought together with attention to detail creating an elegant blend of beauty performance, and tradition. Perfect match for those just getting into shooting the longbow due to its lower cost, yet it still packs a punch and is smooth shooting.
Riser
- Radiused, cut-on center shelf. Brown maple. Leather grip and arrow rest included. Inlaid Bear medallion.
Limbs
– Clear white Maple core surrounded by brown fiberglass. Reinforced bow tips can handle high performance ‘fast flight’ or low-stretch string materials.
String
– D97 Flemish-twist ‘fast flight’ bow string.
Manufacturer Specs
– Recommended brace height: 7-1/2” to 8-1/2”, with a replacement string length of 61" recommended.
