    Rare pair hand chased sterling silver open salts with cobalt blue liners each raised on three hoof paw feet  bearing the characteristic hallmarks of Durham Silver New York City circa 1950's or 1960's. Beautifully hand decorated and chased. Measure approximately 2 1/4 inches diameter. The silver alone weighs a substantial 114 grams NOT including glass inserts. No monogram engraving or evidence of monogram removal so common with vintage American silver of this quality.
